Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX50 (Black)

These days, there's not a lot of love for small point-and-shoots that don't have long zoom lenses or big image sensors. That's understandable since a 5x zoom such as the one on the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 doesn't provide that much more range than a...

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 offers excellent features for automatic snapshots and speedy shooting performance, and nice photo and video quality for its class.

The WX50's controls might be too small for some users and its photos aren't sharp enough for pixel peepers.

The tiny Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX50 is a lot of camera for the money, with solid shooting performance, and good photo and movie quality.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX50

The miniscule WX50 and WX70 pack a lot of features into such a tiny package. Both models come with a top-of-the-line backside-illuminated 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, which promises very good low-light image quality and fast operation. When we say fast,...

This camera rocks!!!

I've had some pretty terrible cameras in the past, and this one exceeds my expectations especially for the price I paid on newegg!

Full HD Video - This looks AMAZING!!! I've used it several times now just with my family ; Sweep Panorama - I've yet to try this, but this is great for large family pictures ; This camera is great at focusing! I think I've taken one blurry picture out...

None. I can't complain about the battery if I'm taking an HD video, it's pretty obvious that'll suck the life out

Wonderful Camera

It is a great camera for casual photoing. The compact size makes it so easy to carry, but also makes it less comfortable to control (can slip off your hands easy).

Easy To Use","Fast\/accurate auto-focus","Good Image Quality","Good Image Stabilization","Good in Low Light","Small \/ Compact

Menu Dial Not Easy

I just received the camera so still learning to use it. Did not look at book yet but should do so. Now just fun playing with it! After I become more familiar with it will try to remember to return and update my report. But so far a fantastic camera...

Best buy?

Overall, The sony cyber shot is a fuggin great camera 8-2012 for the money and I would recomend it to anyone who wants a camera of this size, at the price point. Buy wasabi power spare batteries.

This cameras quality out preforms its price point for sure! (bought at walmart for $170) It takes great quality images and even video! Also, may cool features such as the sweep panoramic and even smile shutter! Cool

there's always a catch right? Well even with this awesome camera, there is a slight catch. The battery life on the camera for pictures is serviceable, but spare batteries are a must for video shooting. Also the format the camera tends to put the files...

not geeky enough

I love the camera. It's with me always. I love its small size. I love its low-light sensitivity. I'm impressed by the way it takes multiple images in some modes and recombines them for enhanced dynamic range. I went head-to-head with a friend comparing...

great in low light, fast exposures, HDR, small! inexpensive

no time-exposure; no manual control; dumbed-down color control

Not up to 2012 Image quality standards

Was eagerly waiting for this camera, great specs and features and with a decent price. While all the features worked as advertised: panorama, 1080i video, color isolation, etc., the main purpose of the camera (taking pictures) seem to have been forgotten.

lightweight, easy to use, panorama sweep, great video

image quality is terrible for a camera with specs like these
