Great performing camera

I have several of these cameras. They work great in daylight/flourescent/incandescent light. Although they have a true "IR cut mechanical filter" they do not perform as well as a plain jane B&W camera within the 760-950 wavelength range. If you need...

Ease of use, clear picture, small size, relatively inexpensive

Not as good during low light (IR)

Product Specifications

Sony EVI-D70 combines a high-quality color video camera with the flexibility of remote pan/tilt/zoom operation, all in a compact easy-to-use package. Incorporating an 18x optical zoom lens, this camera allows a user to zoom in on a small or distant object with exceptional clarity. Compared to its predecessor, the EVI-D70 camera offers a wider pan/tilt range, and a faster pan/tilt mechanism. Above all, this camera is ceiling mountable - a first for Sony's popular EVI cameras. The EVI-D70 is also equipped with a variety of convenient features such as an Auto ICR function, Alarm function and RS-232C/422 serial control, making it ideal for remote-shooting applications such as distance learning, places of worship, courtrooms, event venues, concert halls, and more.
