The Sony SR35 is a class act from top to budget camcorder tail. Leaving High-Definition capture to the Hollywood wannabes, this is aimed squarely at the family market who want an affordable, pick-up-and-shoot camcorder. And to that end, it's gold.

Cheap, user-friendly, feature-packed camcorder

Did someone say HD? No? Okay then

Hi-Def may be the way forward, but in these credit-strapped times needs must. The Sony SR35 is an excellent, affordable, standard-def camcorder alternative.
