I really need a remote, and failed to notice its absence when comparing models. I rated quality and performance as average because I never actually got through the menu to seeing my pictures.

First time I ever bought one of these and it was for a friend. Setup was so simple I let my dog do it for me. Then I went to buy another one for myself, go figure, out of stock already.

Just got this. Beeen trying for 2 hours to get video to display video but only sound comes on. [...]it might need a program to play video. Strange that it doesn't come with it. How can I find the right one on the internet,hat a waste of time. Alo...

The manual is poorly written. I never did find out how to load directly from a USB stick. Worked well loading from my PC. I still have no idea if (you can) or how to change display patterns (effects, time per phote, etc.).

No onscreen calendar display with pictures. Otherwise this is a great quality digital picture frame.
