Nikon D2Hs Review Round-Up

The D2Hs offers a faster buffer and a presumed improved buffering method. This translates to eight frames per second in continuous shooting, capturing 50 JPEG frames, or 40 NEF frames. Other improvements include a higher resolution monitor and 3D...

Nikon D2h Review

Too little? Too much? Just enough? You make the call.

Fast. Wow! Fast frame rate, fast mirror return, fast shutter lag, fast autofocus, fast, fast, fast. Repeat: Wow! If Nikon targeted action shooters with this camera (they did), they hit a bull's eye ; Flexible and Controllable. New controls, more...

Potentially long reach for small hands. This is a big camera, and shooters with small hands won't find all the controls quite where they want them ; Buffer could be bigger. One disappointment to NEF shooters is that the buffer is no more than 16 images...

Bought new in 2008 for a sensible price this lump of magnesium alloy does everything I expected of it and more. Music events, motorsport, macro. I can happily use iso 1000-1250 all day. The compact files mean I now shoot everything in RAW. Follow this...

Out of box Capture NX 1.3.1 originally unstable on Mac OS 10.5 ; Solved by downloading the 1.3.5 update free from Nikon website ; 1 hot pixel

I've had the camera for 3 years and to me this is one under-rated camera. High ISO shots are truly excellent (it was jaw-dropping when I first bought it). Had it not been for the misguided emphasis on pixel count, I'm sure this camera would have made...

Nikon D2Hs

Just replaced my trusty D2H with a lightly used D2Hs. Great upgrade. I loved the D2H but the D2Hs improves on alot of the shortcumings of the D2H. It takes such a great picture, lower noise, better WB. Really great camera.

no problems

Nikon D2Hs

I have a D3 and recently got a used D2HS (in excellent conditions). The D2HS is an excellent camera capable of taking beautiful pictures up to 800 ISO with virtually no noise. Compared to the D3 the colors are slightly more saturated. In my opinion, ...

Not a full frame camera (I will love to have a 4MP full frame D2HS)

Nikon D2Hs

My rating is based on a secondhand D2Hs, which I bought for £520 in April 2008. I've used it for just over two months and I've had absolutely no problems. The handling is superb, coming from the D1X and D1H. The inclusion of a sub-command dial on the...

Nikon D2Hs

I shoot weddings and portraits and events and have used D70, D200, D1x, and a D2x. The D2hs is the best all round camera of them all. I LOVE my D2x, it has fantastic image quality at ISO100 and the ability to crop is great, but the D2Hs is...

None, flawless so far, built like a tank.

Bought the D2Hs as an upgrade from my trusty D70. Only had it less than a week, but first impressions are superb. Very easy to use, many familiar features with many additional functions to learn. Focusing is superbly fast. Really looking forward to...
