The most important thing is the end result. ... 

Controls designed for easy access that allows changing all key variables. This camera takes tremendous images. I'm considering upgrading to the 24.5 megapixel Nikon D3X, but it's hard to imagine how much better it could be than the D2Xs

Unbelievable image quality, feels perfect in large hands, very quick load up time.

Heavy & 1.5x chip makes my wide angle lenses somewhat ineffective in certain situations.
