Swivel LCD is crucial, and there's no other camera in Nikon's DSLR lineup with the capability. As far as sub-$1000 cameras goes, this is the cream of the crop
I remember a time when I would have been amazed at a 12.3 megapixel camera, but these days it's just lacking that wow-factor. Also, large prints look pretty weak. Please make a 20+ megapixel version for the D6000
