Pentax K-x sammelt Punkte

Pentax K-x

User-friendly yet full-featured ; ISO range expandable to ISO 12800 ; 1280-by-720 HD video

No rechargeable battery ; Plastic feel and basic control layout ; No HDMI-out

The K-x is a beginner-friendly SLR featuring most of the latest must-haves (and a very good choice for anyone wanting to shoot video), but the lack of a rechargeable battery is a pain.

Pentax K-x review: Pentax K-x

Pentax K-x

Very good noise profile; nice-size viewfinder for its class; relatively speedy.

Doesn't display AF points in viewfinder; no HDMI connector; slow Live View autofocus; mediocre LCD; unreliable image stabilization.

A fast, inexpensive dSLR with better-than-average low-light quality, the Pentax K-x nevertheless has some flaws, such as unreliable image stabilization, to watch out for.

Pentax K-x

Breaking the boring, black mold, the colorful Pentax K-x is the least expensive HD-video-capable D-SLR you'll find. And it takes great pictures, too, even in low light.

Very solid image quality. Impressive low-light performance. High-definition (720p24) video capture. Fast 4.7 fps burst mode. Available in blue, red, or white.

Lacks in-viewfinder focus-point indicators. Flimsy-feeling build. Proprietary USB and A/V connectors. ; Watch our Pentax K-x video review!

Pentax K-x Review

The Pentax K-x sits in the slot previously occupied by the company's K200D - one of the best-specified entry-level DSLRs on the market in its time - though that position has now been elevated by the arrival of a new breed of simplified models below it....

Good detail and color in JPEGs at base ISO ; Class-leading image quality in low light, very good retention of fine detail at high ISOs ; Good quality 720p video output (but Motion JPEG format produces large files) ; Decent build quality ; Quick and...

Tendency to clip highlights in high-contrast scenes ; Relatively little RAW headroom means it is difficult to pull back blown detail even when shooting RAW ; No visible AF points in viewfinder ; Shake-reduction not too efficient ; AF in live view very...

A very impressive DSLR with an excellent feature set and possibly the best high ISO performance in its class. The lack of visible AF points is a frustrating omission, but if you can live with that the K-x is a little cracker, and a bargain too.

The Pentax K-x is a new mid-range digital SLR that combines the compact body and simple operation of the entry-level K-m camera with some of the advanced features of the prosumer K-7 model. The 12.4 megapixel Pentax Kx offers an uncluttered design that...

K-x

(from $649) is an entry-level digital SLR that doesn't skimp on features. It features a 12.4 Megapixel CMOS sensor, a compact, well designed body, full manual controls (plus an auto scene recognition mode), fast continuous shooting, live view, 720p...

A lot of camera for the money ; Very good photo quality, with good high ISO performance ; Well designed, easy to hold compact body; available in four colors ; Sensor-shift image stabilization ; Full manual controls, with unique sensitivity priority...

Tends to clip highlights; exposure is frequently off slightly ; Some redeye ; AF points not shown in optical viewfinder ; Kit lens is a bit soft toward edges of frame, and has moderate amounts of purple fringing at times ; LCD isn't terribly sharp;...

Despite a few flaws, most of which are minor, the Pentax K-x is an impressive entry-level digital SLR. It brings very good image quality (especially with a decent lens), snappy performance, tons of features, HD movie recording, and good build quality...

Best entry-level digital SLR camera

The 12.4-megapixel Pentax K-x digital SLR camera is a reviewer favorite among budget DSLRs. Though not quite as capable as better cameras from market leaders Canon and Nikon, such as the well regarded Canon EOS Rebel T2i (*Est. $900 with kit lens), it...

Great image quality, sturdy construction, 720p HD video at 24 fps, takes AA batteries, available in many colors

Not the best LCD screen, some exposure/low light issues, small, so-so autofocus
