This is the prefect case for my D3100. It fits snugly and protects it when in situations where I don't want to carry my all in one camera bag. It is exactly as described and has protected my camera so far.

I'm very pleased with this "snuggy" for my Nikon. Gives it great protection and is super lightweight. Took it with me to Italy and Greece when I traveled there several months ago, and thanks to the cover, the camera was well protected.
