We bought this late in 2006. We decided to get the RW so that we could record as well as just play DVDs but I have not had any success at getting it to record. Granted I have not spent a great deal of time on it because I get frustrated and give up ...

Don't Lose Your Remote Control When Purchasing This DVDR!

The machine is sturdy and reliable, performs well when subjected to heavy use.

The remote control cannot be replaced with a universal remote control off the shelf.

Great at first, Problems 2 days later

Easy Manual to read, good recorded picture and sound quality, timer works well.

Difficulty editing titles. Could be easier to navigate through menus and writing titles.

Compatibility an issue on older players. Lack of good edit features/menu options.

Affordable DVD recorder for the home entertainment system

In mid-2005 I was in the market for a DVD recorder. Unfortunately a lot of the models at that time were priced WAY out of my league. More importantly, though, I required a model that offered a an IEEE 1394 (aka FireWire or iLink) connection so that I ...

Very easy to use, no-hassle recording and playback of DVDs

Not bad for my First Time

This is my first DVD recorder, so I have nothing to compare it to. I was looking for another DVD player for another room but didn't want to spend a lot. I looked on the net for some and found Wal-Mart had a good looking one. I thought I would drop in...

An improved DVD Recorder, ILO DVDR05 MU1

I made sure to find a model marked MU1 after reading reviews online. This recorder is replacing a GoVideo Recorder that only lasted 1 year and 4 months before it failed. I can say from experience that this recorder has a lot of improvements from ...

It puts out reliable recordings in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, & 8 hour mode.

Remote control is small.
