Life IS good!

I got mine as Andy mentioned below. Great player. Don't forget to change the output to 1080p. For some reason, it's at 1080i by default. Get it!

The BD550 (bought for Netflix instant and didn't get the wireless because I had a bridge and streaming better on ethernet) is a great bargain and easy to set up. However, I have had a weird problem with Netflix. On certain shows, the machine will power...

I bought this product refurbished and it works well, including streaming from Netflix. The initial update did take ~1 hour to dowload and install.

LG BD550 Blu-Ray Disc Player

Product came in 3 days which is great and the player works exceptionally but it does NOT have a wireless connection. If you don't want to run an ethernet cable, then you have to buy LG's usb network adapter which is $40

The description stated that this was a Wi-Fi connected Blu Ray player, I made sure it was stated. The item showed up when I searched for Wi-Fi enabled players. Unfortunately when i received the player it was wired only. Had to return and buy a...

Upgrading to the dark side

The problem I find with buying these type of things, is that technology is moving so fast, that I always find it a little tricky when buying players that I expect to last a long while. So I did buy this player with anticipation last year, and hopefully...

Does what it says on the tin
