Ideal for what I was looking for - a digital hard drive for recording TV programmes together with a video to play all my old recordings plus a DVD player/recorder. Suited my needs down to the ground.

Fantastic product. Only problem is the complexity in programming or setting up dvd copying and playlists etc.

After 10 weeks I'm pleased with this product and glad I bought it. Most of the time it's easy to use and does all that can reasonably be expected of it. But it has some strange ways. The response to most commands is reasonably quick, but some lags...

I can't praise this product morehighly it has everything, Video to play those old ones you didn't get rid of, DVD to play the new ones, plus a hard drive to record anything you wish to save (bonus) like I said, it has everything, great product!!

After many hours of frustration I finally managed to get my Loewe Planus TV, Panasonic satellite receiver and this Panasonic DMR-EX95 DVD/VHS/HD recorder to work together. The wiring-up diagram in the manual didn't work and was different from that...

I bought this item just over a month a go as an anniversary present for my parents. After they had unwrapped it at a family gathering I plugged it all in etc but got a message of 'HDDERR' and the DVD just opened. Thats the sum total of my experience!!!...
