Panasonic DMR-BWT800 review

As expensive as it is ambitious, Freeview HD, 3D, Blu-ray, Skype and streaming are appealing

Sparkling images from all sources ; All-in-one appeal ; Archiving compression options

Freeview HD EPG ; HDD smaller than Sky and Virgin ; Fragmented user interface ; Remote control

A better option that the far cheaper DMR-BWT700, but still overly complicated compared to dedicated PVRs

Panasonic Diga DMR-BWT800 review

A/V racks filled with high-end equipment might look impressive, but they take up a lot of room, tend to be power-hungry and create a surprising amount of heat. If you want to simplify your home cinema setup, Panasonic's DMR-BWT800EB all-in-one system...

Packed with features, but we weren't keen on the user interface and it's expensive

Amazing range of features; Superb picture quality from all sources; Extensive recording and editing functionality

Panasonic DMR-BWT800

The Panasonic DMR-BWT800 is the most feature rich set-top box we have ever come across. It has twin Freeview HD tuners, a 500GB hard drive capable of recording up to 300 hours of content, connections for every major cable, including HDMI, optical and...

We love the Panasonic DMR-BWT800, but feel it has come out too soon and at a price that is prohibitively high, however, if you are looking for a future proof device and have throwaway cash, this is the best of the best in PVRs. Panasonic DMR-BWT800 is...
