Great EXCEPT for the reliability and the cost of repair. Repair cost should be investigated before buying. Given that the HDD is a standard computer HDD (although formatted differently), the repair cost should be way less and the reliability should...

Very easy to use. Did everything well. Editing feature (to manually get rid of ads before copying from HDD to DVD) very useful.

HDD gave up the ghost after less than 3 years of not very intensive use. Cost of repair ($670) more than the original cost of the item, so I'm junking it.

Excellent

 

I'm a first time user of DVD recorders and I was impressed by the quality of the recordings and the ease of use. Its a great little machine if you don't want to record High Definition TV shows.

It is easy to use. There is a choice of five recording modes and the quality of the LP (Long Recording Mode) is so good that you can easily use this all the time and by using LP you get 138 hours of recording time on the EX77 Model [160 GB], and the...
