Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-ES40V; I have not had any problem with this model since I purchased it more than two years ago. VHS tapes and CD's are easy to use. As is their recording.

This is JUNK. It was either broke or in the shop the first year i owned it. Now it is in the closet. It will only play and not record. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! Save your money.

It was easy to set up, but wasn't worth the effort. The DVDs got stuck and the VHS stopped working altogether - after only 2 months.

Was able to record my old home movies on to DVD without too many surprises.The unit worked flawlesly. Remember to "finalize" your DVD projects when you think they're complete.

Wonderful unit for VHS and DVD viewing and dubbing.

Might be considered pricey at first.
