Disappointed

This model is packed with complex technology and compatability features, but doesn't have some of the basics I expected it to. It is not a 'twin tuner' so you can only watch the station you are recording and it also doesn't have a 'series-link'...

Very Impressed

Thought long and hard about replacing our DVD player, VCR and Freeview box as they all worked perfectly - if it ain't broken don't fix it, but after getting a HDD TV we are so pleased with the Panasonic. Picture quality is superb with upscalling...

The picture quality of this recorder is what distinguishes it from the competition. The on-screen menus maybe aren't perfect or even as good as on a Sony player, but anyone who appreciates great image and sound quality shouldn't look any further than...
