Panasonic DMR-BW880

Superb recording and playback quality. Feature-laden. Well built and finished.

Sheer complexity. Outdated menus. Pricey.

The DMR-BW880 is a fine recorder and player but needs to be less complex, have a better menu system and shed a fair few more dollars to be seriously competitive.
