It 'does what it says on the tin', it records stuff. And it was cheap! I bought this item purely on price, a HDD Recorder with a DVD Recorder included for the price you'd expect to pay for a HDD Recorder on it's own - so on that basis I'm perfectly happy

HOWEVER, this is the LEAST user-friendly piece of equipment I've ever had the misfortune to own. The operation is FAR TOO COMPLICATED and the Remote Control has far to many buttons; here are far too many key presses for the simplest of functions and...

Fairly simple to use for the first timer and easy to master. Good picture quality, good size hard drive and a bargain HDD/DVD for what was paid for the item.

Can be a little slow to load up, but nothing too bad. I'm just slightly impatient! It doesn't seem to give programme synopsis on freeview info button.

Buttons on the romote require two or three presses each time, and each press has to be extremely firm. Really frustrating!

A little Long winded to set up but once you get used to using it a few times gets easier

Hard to set up to record. Cannot see front display unless you stand right by the display.

REMOTE CONTROL BUTTONS ARE FAR TOO SMALL.OFTEN USED BUTTONS ARE SAME SIZE AS LITTLE-USED ONES.RESPONSE TIME FROM PRESSING BUTTONS IS SO SLOW.LOAD-UP TIME FROM STAND-BY IS NEARLY ONE MINUTE.

Value for money. Not sure why it scored low for ease of use by other users, it's got it's own idiosyncracies but compared with my Sony it's a walk in the Park. I plugged a HDMI cable to it and the tv, let the auto scan pick up the channels and away she...

None at this price.

Very easy to set up. a little loud and take a while to start up but with pateints it worth it. hard drive it the same of a sky box 160 which holds soooo much.

freeview does not set up.

comprehensive choice to save recordings, too different media, quality reproduction,.....fairley good selection control, once familiarised.

minor fault, but, illumination display is quite dull on the exterior of the unit.
