Good product all round. \nlooks are excellent for the money - high quality finish for unit and remote control - compact design \nVery easy to set u palthough it took quite a few minutes befor it had tuned in the analog and then the freeview channels....

This is one of the worst dvd player i have ever used, sound is awful, very loud fan and stopped recording after only 12 weeks, sent this product back twice then gave up on it and got a full refund, (great service amazon)

I had read reviews saying that it wasn't compatible with a modern Samsung TV with Anynet+, but I had no problems at all. Setup was so easy, recording works very well and in full HD if you want it. For the price, this is very good value.

Yes, the guide is slow to work as it does update the epg every press of the button, but I have had no problem with recording, and playback through the HDMI with upscaling is super. I bought mine in France from 'Expert' to use over here with TNT...
