SHERWOOD Hollywood-at-Home Virtual Theater System

I have had this unit installed on a yacht for 3 years and it works great. Sound is excellent, the sub is small enough to stash away in a cabinet, the DVD has worked fine. The one glitch is that the treble control has a bug where you have to press the...

SHERWOOD Hollywood-at-Home Virtual Theater System

I've had this unit for about 2 years. After about 18 months it started having problems reading DVDs - even brand new, commercial ones. Would try to load for several seconds and give an error. After much back and forth with Sherwood they decided they...

I have had this unit for a couple of years now. The manual buttons other than the DVD load and unload, do not work. touching any button turns the unit off. I did not notice this until after I had it for a few weeks, because I always used the remote. So...

I also have had this VR670 18 months, and now we cant get more than about 45 mins into a dvd and it freezes up. Same issues others note in this forum. Closest repair facility is 45 miles away. Not good. Sound is great, but a home theater has to play...

SHERWOOD Hollywood-at-Home Virtual Theater System

We have had this system for about a year. Sound is OK, but DVD player is basically junk. It worked for several months, then began to malfunction. The DVD player seems to have a mind of it's own. Plays perfectly sometimes, other times we have to just...

Very good sound, but the dvd player is so erratic that it drives one crazy! It freezes in the middle of movies, fails to recognize dvd's, and/or sits there loading forever. No one has a fix, which is too bad; this could have been the 2.1 system of choice.

SHERWOOD Hollywood-at-Home Virtual Theater System

I have had this unit for over a year and it has been an excellent purchase for me. The sound is very good, the unit is relatively compact. The DVD has proved to be very reliable as there are, on average, 1-2 movies per day that my family will watch....

SHERWOOD Hollywood-at-Home Virtual Theater System

I bought this about 11 months ago, and everything worked okay for a while. I say okay because the sound was a bit weaker than I expected. Maybe my expectations were too high for a two speaker system. After about 4-6 months of use, the DVD player acted...
