The nitty gritty of this aggressively priced combi is quietly impressive, with a built-in Freeview tuner, a DV input at the front and the ability to record on dual-layered DVDs.

This stylish machine also has a well thought out remote control and elegant on-screen menu. You can browse the programme guide while recording (unlike the Panasonic) and timer setting is reasonably simple, though a bit more involved if you want to...

Digital Reciever and Recording System

Switch On time from Standby to ON is unusually long ; Hard drive storage adequate ; Manual needs to be made simpler explanation for functions

Easey to use .looks good & does everything it says it does, Has plenty of recording space on its hard drive.for me

Since November the EPG program has not worked, the only way to record is to do it manualy, this was reported to customer service, who told me to take the unit to service centre in Ellesmere Port, I received terrible service, took unit back, unrepaired,...

looks ok. controls fairly easy to follow

only able to record one program from preview but unable to watch another preview channel or play other recording whilst recording

Ease of recording and playback

You cannot watch another digital channel if you are recording a program, takes a long time to write to disc from memory
