This little gizmo allows you to wirelessly stream (using wifi) audio from your computer to your stereo. Its quite small and plugs directly into the proprietary port on sony receivers. The display is too small to read from a distance, and can't display...

Poor Music Server Software and Support

 

The unit looks good and allows use of the Sony Media Ports of my home theatre system. However, the M-Crew software to act as the music server is terrible. It is slow and very limited. Access to iTunes or another type of UPnP would have been best....

Not Compatible with 64-bit OS

 

One Word – Disappointing! I’ve been a huge fan of Sony for years, and was excited to add this product to my audio visual system. Its unfortunate Sony has decided not to support a 64-bit OS. Please step up Sony and offer a 64-bit client!

Software is incompatible with 64 bit Windows 7

 

Software CD supplied with this unit is not compatible with Sony desktop 64 bit computer running Windows 7. Even software downloaded from Sony web site did not work. Software simply would not load! So, do not buy this product unless Sony supplies...

this adapter doesn't work. We spent several weekends over two months trying to set it up. I have never seen such poor instructions written by Sony. When it "loads" music from your computer, it take 30 min to load 10 songs... and it keeps asking for...
