Great product and very easy to use. No customization.

I am very pleased with this unit. It is very easy to use and delivers good quality results. The unit's ease of use is primarily driven by the on-unit LCD screen which allows you to cue and verify your source material. Another nice bonus is the unit...

Easy to use ; On-board LCD screen allows for easy cueing of video sources ; The unit auto-pauses/un-pauses as it detects available video sources to reduce cueuing headaches ; AVCHD format option

Very limited options to customize DVD menus ; The wizard defaults to a high quality mode (1hr of SD recording on a single layer DVD). Users shouldn't have to go into the settings to change the time/quality. This may be confusing for some

Great item for saving home movies

Great but sucks without editing permissions..Very, very easy to use! Directions do suck but over time you'll get it.

Very easy to use out of box

You can't edit your home movies on your Pc or mac! You can't even transfer them to your pc/mac

Sony VRDMC6 DVDirect Recorder

Great product! Very easy to use. The only feature I wish it had was sound while I am editing, but other than that, I am very happy to be able to preserve all of my old family VHS tapes onto DVD!
