WD TV Live Review

All your entertainment needs in one tiny box.

Small size, Passive cooling, Easy setup, Can play virtually any file format video and audio

Navigating menus isn't instantaneous, Browsing through radio stations and YouTube videos is laggy

Included in the box is the power cable, manual, the remote control plus batteries. The remote control itself is identical to the WD TV Live Hub, which means it has the same irritatingly long rubber buttons. The layout, however, is nice and simple to use.

Plays almost all video formats faultlessly. Play from a hard disk attached to the media player or stream from your computer or, even better, stream from a network attached storage box (NASbox). You can watch movies from NetFlix and iPlayer amongst...

Point 1. The main problem I can find is that turning the media player off doesn't! What I mean is that the USB connections are live all the time which kills my auto HDMI switch and I have to set it manually. This is a pain as the switch is behind my...
