Gets extemely HOT

Does the job but could possible burn out or destroy your other components if you do not keep an eye on it.

Works as advertised. I use it in conjunction with an Alienware M15x R1 laptop that has 9800GTX video option and Windows 7 Enterprise Windows Media. It works fantastically with Windows Media no drivers and channel quality is good overall

The major problem is the card gets way to hot on its own and sits close to the video card which is warm as is. This drives the thermal temp of the video card to around 70C causing the fan to kick up to prevent damage making it noisy. Without the card...

For those who don't have the above listed operating systems, the provided software may or may not work for you in terms of recording, you've been warned. I was able to watch it just fine though.

Installed this on XP MCE with no problems, I have standard cable and it worked thanks to the nifty adapter they provided. The software they provide can prove buggy for recording, I'd highly suggest using Media Center if you've got it (either with Vista...

Great Digital Tuner

I think I got my dad to get another one for himself. I had to finally upgrade to Vista on my own computer because I just had XP Home and there is no program with it. It works completely through Media Center.

It simply worked! Brilliant picture when looking at digital TV. Works perfectly with Media Center under Vista. Even when recording the picture comes out good

Standard definition reception is horrible. I don't get all the channels. Slightly slow on my Mom's older laptop
