If you don't have a water softener, this may not be the model for you.

Hand washing at a high price

This dishwasher is the most unreliable one I've ever owned. The only thing worse than the reliability is the GE service. The dishwasher was defective on the day it was installed, requiring a new control panel. That took about 2-3 weeks to get repaired....

Quiet when it works.

Unreliable, and service so poor that repairs take a very long time.

is it running?

This is our second GE Profile dishwasher, the original 'potscrubber' in white came with the house over 8 years ago. It worked fine but was noisy as all get out. you couldn't have a conversation in the kitchen with it running and you could hear it ...

QUIET! large capacity, little less expensive than others in this class.

Should come with all components required for operation and easier installation. more SmartDispense soap choices.
