A Mixed Bag...

This "best buy" Whirpool replaced a highly-rated 18-year old GE dishwasher that did a great job all around. The Whirlpool DU1100XTP has a larger load capacity. However the manufacturer ad HYPES the low-water quantity used. Guess what? A mere 6 ...

Made in Mexico and It Shows

Forget about Whirlpool initial delivered quality as well as their sub-contracted first-year ldquo;factory rdquo; service. I am now home waiting for my second repair in 5 months on my DU1145TXPB (a Lowe rsquo;s specific model of the DUX1100TX available ...

When it works, it is relatively quiet and cleans dishes fairly well.

It doesn't seem to work for long..
