I have one of these for work, about 7 months old, it's it is a fantastically easy to use and versatile camera. Overall picture quality is good and the stock lens (while basic) meets the majority of my needs.

A good camera with picture quality equal to the D5000 ( though less features ). A great SLR for the hobbiest or newcomer. Note that you will also need a card, bag, and uv filter in addition to this package.
