Good for the family

I don't really have anything bad to say about this dryer. It doesn't take overly long to dry the clothes and it is quite affordable. I have only given it a 4 star as it is quite small and I have had to upgrade to a larger but we still use this for a...

Great Dryer

This dryer hasn't broke the bank its affordable to use. I was conserned about how much my electricity bill would be. I was pleasantly surprised. The dryer is of good quality and hasn't skipped a beat. Its Easy to operate no need for getting out the...

good

Had it for 7 years now and it is going strong. Only really get use in winter. I put the timer on for 70 mins and the load comes out dry on hot. It is only a 4 kg and most of the time i believe I overload it but it still dry good but sometimes creases.

Charging too much to fix

Stop working, with the burning smell, drum not turning and just the humming noise. I can see it is a commonly reported problem and do not understand why the technician needs to charge $ 135 just to find what the problem is and than order the parts....

longlife and does the job!

I had a Simpson like this, (not sure if exact model), and also another Simpson that was a toploader for 20 years! They are really effective with their washload and go forever, they are like the Nokia's of washing machines! Easy to use, and very...

Cheapish and Cheerful

cal timer it's as basic as it comes, but it works well and in the few months I have owned it has not caused a problem. I have it hanging on the wall, and this is where it's compact size and light(er) weight comes in handy compared with bigger, heavier...

It's okay.

Does the job but to be honest I do t think it is necessary to use a dryer in a hot climate such as Australia. It is a waste in energy and electricity bill to be using this dryer all the time. It may be handy in winter or rainy season, but over all I...

Run for the Hills do not purchase

2 years old, dead with only periodic light use.....unlike any other dryer I have had almost impossible to open up and see if it is something simply like the brushes (which I doubt).. Not even wasting my time with this one after a terrible electrolux...

We love this dryer. Reliable and does the job. Value for money.

If you're after a no-nonsense dryer then this Simpson is definitely worth going for. Very simple to operate. The lint filter is very easy to clean. We had ours for over 3 years and it was still going strong. Unfortunately we had to sell ours when we...
