Dryer broke after 2 weeks. No pros

Product is a lemon. Whirpool would not replace it, but keep sending repairs. Out of dryer for a month. Unacceptable

Timer hangs at 7 or 6 seconds and have to stop manually

Just a horrible piece of junk. Obviously there is a huge problem with the timer which, when it hangs up at 7 or 6 seconds left, could be a fire hazzard, because the dryer continues to operate hot. UGH!

I do not like a thing about this product. It does not live up to the Whirlpool reputation good quality in the past. I tell eveyone I know not to buy any of their products

There is a risk of fire with the timer hanging up at 6 or 7 seconds. I will never buy another Whirlpool product. We have to time the clothes dryer with our microwave timer. Just awful

I bought this dryer and had it for 2 yrs before replacing it with a LG model. I had Whirlpool come out and service it 3 times in the 2 yrs I owned it. They still could not fix it. The first time they came out they said they were looking for an error...

Worked fine for the first 2 months

Takes twice as long to dry clothes on a timed setting. Dryer sensor does not work well or at all. Timer gets stuck all the time. When you pick a cycle it will count down from 60 min. and get stuck 6 or 7 min., drying your clothes for hours

OK so far

Installed the unit myself with bottom vent attachment. Installation was very simple. Unit seems to be operating as designed. No compaints.

okay dryer

"The dryer is loud when you start it - sounds like a jet engine (as does the washer). It takes a long time to dry one load of clothes - I always have to dry clothes twice. The wrinkle guard is nice, but continues to tumble - not a good energy saver...

"The only problem I have with this dryer is the wrinkle shield setting. I like for the dryer to keep tumbling until I get the clothes out of it. I really like the way the door opens"
