Advance Wars' new look and feel won't appeal to a lot of fans, but the series gameplay remains intact.

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (DS) Review

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is the latest title in the turn-based strategy series and leaves little to be desired. Ok, so I am one of the poor saps who never got the chance to play the previous Advance Wars games. Why? Because the other two were so...

Tank strategy turns to the dark side.

Trademarked turn-based strategy gameplay remains intact ; More intuitive touch screen control ; Addictive online play

Overall, Days of Ruin is a fitting sequel to the popular Advance Wars franchise. Adding in a much-demanded feature in multiplayer and a variety of new units while keeping balance solid is definitely not an easy task, but it was pulled off well. Pretty...

Review: Advance Wars: Days of Ruin

The AdvanceWars series is well known for two things: well-balanced, fun, turn-basedtactical gameplay and a cast of characters who seem to be completely obliviousto the horrors of war.

Quite the ominous subtitle for a Nintendo game, no?

This review was based on a retail copy of the game provided by the publisher.

I picked this up today purely because you both said such good things. I better not regret it! Post a Comment

An awesome DS game for strategy veterans and recruits alike. While this doesn't bring anything groundbreaking to the table, it's still the solidest Advance Wars title to date.
