Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars: Director's Cut

A new director's cut brings the classic back to life on the DS. But how does it fare when compared to its brother on the Wii?

A great story that is balanced with humor and intrigue ; Hint system alleviates frustration when puzzle-solving ; Captivating artwork ; Over 10 hours of gameplay

Slightly primitive gameplay compared with other adventure games on the DS ; Lots of text to read through ; No incentive to play it one more time ; Controlling characters can be a chore

Its definitely a toss up. I could see the DS version having the advantage because it could provide a lot of gameplay during a long trip or plane ride. I haven't played the Wii version, but it doesn't matter which version you get since you are getting...

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (Director?s Cut) (DS)

Still makes an Awesome game

If your a broken sword fan you'll know that BS1 is the best (or on par with BS2) broken sword game Revolution have made. Bringing it back onto the Wii was a great move, i just wish there were more games like it for the wii.

Addictive!!!!

This game is right up my street and kept me engrossed for hours on end. In fact, one night I picked it up at 10.30 pm and was still playing it at 5.00 am! Lucky for me I had no work next day! I really wish they would make more of this genre. I love...

If you played the original, you will want to play this!

Think another port of this game to a different console is pointless? Think again. The biggest difference is the addition of extra storyline which almost 'ties up loose ends' compared to the original Broken Sword which was released 13 years ago. A...
