Orcs and Elves - Nintendo DS

Anyone remember Dungeon Master? No? Ok, at the risk of showing my age, Dungeon Master was a milestone in gaming. Published way back in 1987 on the Atari ST, and then a year later on the far superior (cue flame war) Amiga, Dungeon Master is widely...

Simple, intuitive interface, RPG-lite fun, Easy drop in and out gameplay, All the tricky RPG stuff glossed over, Simple, intuitive interface, RPG-lite fun, Easy drop in and out gameplay, All the tricky RPG stuff glossed over

Orcs and Elves

Orcs & Elves was originally released as a mobile title in mid-2006 following John Carmack's realisation that most other mobile games are, in fact, total tripe. The game soon received commercial success and critical acclaim, encouraging Fountainhead...

Despite its limitations and clear mobile roots, Orcs & Elves provides a nostalgic experience that includes enough new ideas to keep things fresh and interesting. Combat is simple, unadulterated fun, which improves upon traditional dungeon crawlers by...

Orcs And Elves (DS) review

id has its sights on the DS and its first game for the handheld is an adventurer's delight

A nice blend of dungeon exploration and turn-based battle. It feels old-fashioned, but in a good way.
