Virtua Tennis 2009

\r\n \'\'He not busy being born is busy dying.\'\' Bob Dylan said that. I\'m sure Bob doesn\'t care about video game tennis, but this quote is neatly applicable to Virtua Tennis 2009. Playing the game, I couldn\'t help but thinking the biggest change...

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Review

Apocalypse (Seven Days From) Now.

Grid-based, classic RPG hybrid; Grinding is easy but still challenging; Multiple meaningful endings; High-concept but well-contained story

but too many meaningless choices.; Repetitive 20-second loop music; One save slot

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

RPGs are tricky subject matter. If you can't get together an intriguing cast of characters, solid gameplay that rewards your grinding, and a great storyline that should keep you playing, then they become throwaways that are little more than copies of...

One of the best DS entries you can find in the RPG realm, especially if you enjoy pleasing tactical battles and the charm of the MegaTen series.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

Tokyo is doomed unless some high-schoolers can save it.

The combination of monster-collecting, tactics, and disturbing plot are sure to keep players' heads in the game.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor..

MegaTen on the go.

Fusing demons (ala Persona) with improvements, morbidly intriguing plot, and a smooth blend of light tactics and traditional Shin Megami Tensei battles that pull no punches

Visually dull, excessive grinding, and little to no exploration

With such basic visuals and a story that is heavy on dialogue and light on exploration, Devil Survivor doesn?t strain to appeal to a new audience. The massive wall that passes for a difficulty-curve will make sure of that. It seems more like a handheld...
