"Between comical mini-games, fast-paced play and an interesting core puzzle game, this scores quite well as a casual multiplayer game"

At first glance first glance, Zendoku doesn't quite look right. At first you wonder why the DS needs yet another cart full of puzzles; especially considering that not even your great-aunt Judy could finish all of them. The bewilderment deepens as you...

Gameplay steals the show here, over anything else that this title has to offer, the gamplay itself keeps you rapt in its world

The difficulty can reach frustrating levels with little to no warning, and seems like a ploy to get you involved with the side games

This is an addiction, not a game. As hard as you may fall for it, there are rewards for sticking with it, but the later levels will make it harder to do so.

Zendoku Nintendo DS Review

Strange goofiness abounds in Eidos' new fusion of Anime and Sudoku.

If you don't like Sudoku, first; why did you read this far down? Secondly, this game won't change your opinion of Sudoku one way or another. If you're looking for a cheesy alternative to the pen and paper version, Zendoku isn't a bad way to go at all....

Continuing the Nintendo DS tradition of casual gaming, Eidos has released Zendoku for the system. A sudoku spinoff, Zendoku replaces the 1-9 number system used in sudoku and uses icons such as pandas, swords, Yin-Yang symbols and others. At first it...

If you are looking for a decent budget puzzle title, Zendoku may be a decent option for you. It doesn't have snazzy visuals or online play, but it boasts a good number of game options and changes the formula of sudoku enough to warrant attention. The...

Based on the popular game Sudoku, Zendoku features similar gameplay combined with martial art themes. Zendoku follows the basic rules of Sudoku, and gamers must fill in all the blank squares with symbols so that each row and column contains each token wit

Sudoku with fighting: it's mental jujutsu!

Maybe that's why sudoku needs ninjas, special attacks and head-to-head battles

Zendoku (DS) review

You can teach an old dog new tricks.

A decent effort but some fine tuning needed.
