Cheap deal gone sour

I got the unit for use as a second DVD player based on it's claimed multi-format capabilities rather than as a Karaoke player. A bargain is no bargain if it don't work and you have to take time and shipping cost to return it.

The unit I received would not play any DVD±R double-layer or PAL format disks (""nodisk"" error""). It also failed to read most self-burned DVD project disks (SL & DL NTSC) that work without fail in my Sony home player.

no big surprise

I've had 3 machines of this type and they all suck. Loading and tracking are extremely flaky. I don't know where to find one that works properly. Maybe if absolutely everything wasn't made in China. Ugh I'm so weary. Anyway don't say I didn't warn you.

Very Nice System

Very nice system with this price range. My Pioneer karaoke machine is about $450. This machine can do almost the same features for a whole lot less in cost. Recommend this system any time....

First it was kind of hard trying to get the mic voice blend in with the music. I wish there is more i can do with that.
