Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

Bought at Circuit City, and passed on the extended service plan. That was the mistake. The unit was never abused and suddenly, after 1 year's worth of occasional use (~30 movies), it stoped reading DVDs. I can still play cds and occasional mp3s (if...

Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

I heard about Apex when I was looking for a DVD player. At the beginning, I wondered what Apex AD-500 is. Why everyone talks about Apex AD-500? Then I did some research about Apex DVD player, and found that Apex DVD player can play DVD, VCD, MP3, CD-R,...

Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

I bought this unit about a year ago and it has performed flawlessly. I love the features and the MP3 playback is great. The S-Video out seems to be of a slightly higher quality than my Panasonic laser disc player.

Tons of features, ease of use, great picture and sound quality, great value.

LED display, no composite out or Progressive scan, no optic out.

Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

I have had the APEX AD-660A DVD player for a couple weeks now because I got it for my mom's Christmas present. I am not the kind that is loaded with money, nor did I want to spend that much. So I decided to come to epinions and read about all the DVD...

Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

Take away a fancy name and almost half the price and add more options to your DVD player and you have the APEX AD-660. This new company has created a DVD player that plays DVDs, VCD, MP3 disks and burned CD's. If you have a music CD that plays in...

Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

If you like me bought this DVD a short while from Circuit City for about $100 with $20 rebate. I think you got a fair deal.

Easy to hack.

Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

Although I had a much better DVD player (JVC XV-M565), I needed a player for my home theater system which played the enormous amounts of MP3s I have collected. Also, the Apex AD-660 supports recordable media, so I could use it for "backup" copies of...

Great DVD player for the Price ; Easy setup ; Support for NTSC and PAL formats

Poor on-screen display for Mp3 filenames ; No Component Video output ; Poorly designed remote

Wait a little while. . .

I was really psyched that I was finally getting a DVD player AND an MP3 player all-in-one for under $150. Like most products in an info-mercial though, I was disappointed with its performance.

Lots of Features for VERY little money ; MP3s

Few finisihing touches, poor navigation, cheaply made

Apex Digital AD-660 DVD Player

I bought this DVD player about a year ago. It was outstanding to see a DVD player who would play MP3, Vdiscs and also some extra video formats, such as MPG1 and 2.

Great Price, MP3, DTS Ready, Kinda Fast reading discs
