When I discovered the JVC XV-SA70B I was excited. I had a receiver that was Dolby Digital "ready" and I wanted to purchase a decent DVD player. I had begun converting my CD collection to mp3s and was purchasing a CD/MP3 player for my Jeep at the same...

JVC America DVD Player HDMI Black

Great picture quality, and unlike my Blu ray Sony DVD, the JVC plays all DVDs and not just some of them. A top choice if you don't need Blu Ray format. I use MKV files with the JVC to get Blu Ray quality.

This player produces a sub-par image even with component video hookup. The chroma looks like its at quarter resolution. For example, on a non-anamorphic letterbox movie, the first 4 scanlines of the movie image are completely desaturated by chroma...

I purchased this DVD player because I wanted to add a JVC Player to my JVC A/V System (CD Changer, Tape Deck, VCR, and Receiver). I have long been a fan of JVC products for their features, reliability, and prices.

This is the first DVD - VHS combo that I have ever purchased. I really did love it at first and think that the model is beautiful. I found this model extremely easy to use and had no problems in understanding it. However I only had this model for...

JVC's HRXV3 is definitely one of the more basic DVD/VCR combinations on the market; however, its low price and simplistic interface would suit users who aren't interested in recording to DVD.

The last few players I had (Sony, Yamaha and Apex) froze up and skipped on me all the time. The JVC player has been working fine now for almost a year and has never frozen or skipped. I love the blue illumination and my CDs sound great.

I bought it for the MPEG-1/MPEG-4 on SD CF card capability. It does not do this. Amazon should not say it does. I will be contacting them about this. It plays .asf type MPEG-4 NOT MPEG-1 unless it's a CD ROM or DVD Video (VCD/SVCD). It also says it...

JVC XV-F85 Multi-disc DVD Player

I actually found this DVD Player at Cargo Largo for $90! I was thrilled since I had been looking for a deal so irresistable my girlfriend couldn't protest. It seemed like it would fit all of my needs perfectly. I took it home, set it up very easily,...

JVC XV-N 422

I bought this dvd player 2 years ago to replace a cheaper model. This dvd player will play most anything on a disc. Now after 2 years of normal use it started to act extremely tempermental. Frequently it will say reading when a disc is loaded, and wont...

While $200 may seem like a lot to pay for JVC's XV-BP11 Profile 1.1 player, that doesn't mean you won't buy it - specially we are right that the price will drop like a stone come Black Friday.

JVC DR-MV77SU/78BU DVD Recorder / VCR Combo

I recommend buyers look at the Amazon reviews for defunct JVC VHS/DVD dual deck products before they purchase any current dual deck model. They have a proven history of extremely poor build quality. JVC keeps rapidly changing model numbers, which makes...

Jvc Hi-fi Vcr/DVD Combo

I had the same problems as the first reviewer with my Jvc Hi-fi Vcr/DVD Combo. The DVDs started freezing up on the machine after just a few months use. I gave up and decided to buy a separate DVD player. I am still using the VCR to play videos but the...
