Shinco SDP 1720

Shinco's SDP-1720D has broad media compatibility and is easy to use, but its failure to recognise some DivX discs brings down the overall score.

Toshiba SD-K741 Progressive Scan Dvd Player

It worked flawlessly for about 6 months, but now it just keeps ejecting the DVD's over and over. At first it was just once in awhile, now it's all the time. Too bad. I really liked it, but now it is just a cup holder!

Koss KS4127

This Koss DVD player is a fine choice of purchase and would most likely be chosen over a VCR. It is more advanced and may be more expensive (for some) due to its superiority. In order to use this DVD system compact discs are needed (DVD's). These are...

Toshiba SDK615 Multi-disc DVD Player

This was my first DVD player purchase, circa 2003. It's a fine player if you aren't looking for sophisticated features. I've used this player with 2 older TV sets -- one is a 13" Magnavox TV purchased in 1995 (small bedroom set) and another is a 25" ...

Toshiba SD34VB

On the surface, this Toshiba looks pretty basic, offering as it does the popular combination of VHS recording and DVD playback. However, it boasts a couple of unique features that put the competition to shame

Gpx Top Load DVD Player

Very frustrated with this device. We have two of them and the same problem with both: they don't play DVDs! It's a breeze to set up, but out of four discs that I put in, only one of them played. The rest wouldn't load and the "wrong disc" error message...
