I am writing this review because the 70ES seems to be almost a Sony secret with almost no information on it anywhere. This is too bad because it is an interesting and useful device.

This unit is defective right out of the box. I bought two: one for myself, and one for my sister. BOTH UNITS CONSISTENTLY OVERHEAT. Both units skip, shut down, pixelate, and reject various DVDs. Stay away from this one.
