WORKS WELL

Performs very well for the cost

Purchased at Circuit City, on sale for $75, including 10 blank DVD-R media. Great value for the cost. This is a full-width unit weighing 15 lbs, seemingly better built than many current DVD players-only. Has S-video in & out, digital & RCA audio out....

Unbelievably inexpensive with 4 recording speeds.

Somewhat limited audio and video dynamic range. No firewire input.

Save your Money, buy a better recorder

I got the Centrios dvd recorder for xmas, And it was easy to hook up , I did it in 5 mins. It seem to work good for a cheap recorder in the sense it recorded a good picture in the SP and HQ mode, the LP and EP mode are ok , but I seen better pictures...

good price, easy to hook up, good picture recorded in sp and hq mode

timers setting don't work well, problems reading a hand full of dvd rw disk.

Works for me!

UPDATE: After one year, I am having more problems getting dvdrw's to work. When I insert them, the unit says "loading" and then after awhile, the tray opens and that's it. That's even for memorex and staples discs that I boughts recently, which the old...

Has many options and works reliable on its favored discs.

Does not accept discs from all companies even though the disc's specs are correct.

Nice looking, slim machine, impressive features.

Some of the features didn't work perfectly or easily. It has limited disk acceptance.
