Worked for 3 months

Then the warranty ran out. Died in October. Coby doesn't care, I guess I'll be avoiding this brand from here on out ; I've had DVD players die before, but they usually work for at least a year before they go

Movie doesn't play in sync. Sounds/voices come after the actions. Very distracting to try to watch...looks like a really bad lip sync job. Plays fine on other DVD players. I'd pass on this model..you get what you pay for!

Plays DVDs just like you would expect it to. I'm only using composite out, so I don't know about the hdmi or upconvert capabilities.
