Not worth Buying

I would not recommend this product to anyone.

The only pro would be the price if it worked. It powers up and that is it.

The product is not worth buying, and return shipping cost is very high.

Passable -- not great

So far, it seems to behave well with DVD-R's (don't have any +R's). It is sometimes stubborn on -RW's. Closing the image doesn't always produce a valid closed image on -RW's (just starting to experiment with -R's). Note: if you watch part of a video,...

Very inexpensive -- it's only 1/3 the price of the Toshiba DVR620 (I'm not real keen on combo units anyway...). Looks pretty nice. Generally functions acceptably. Unlike my previous DVDR, you can chapter step forward (e.g. 5 minutes) on a disc that has...

Very clunky programming interface. Very limited features: no "fill disc" mode (i.e. variable mode, allowing best resolution for available run-time), no 8 hr SLP mode, only permits short text titles on videos (hardly enough to identify movie), and...

Not bad for the price

I have only used a few times and have been a little nervous each time where it makes a lot of noise when loading, initializing and ejecting the disc. But it seems to work fine so far but haven't actually viewed the discs yet. They were made for other...

Not Bad, Great Value

First purchase of this kind here and I think it was a very good deal for a refurbished unit. So far no troubles and it records very easy. Only thing, I wish you could use more characters in the titles but most recorders are like that. I would recommend...

run don't walk away

This is JUNK. I ordered one, it looked like it was packed by a 4 yr old. It lasted 2 weeks. Hence the 30 day warranty. Returned it and got another. How much chance that 2 would be junk? This one wouldn't get past the

Good Value

We experienced a few problems with the setup, but after finally figuring it out, we're very happy with how it works. Good value for money.
