Instruction Manual Has No Troubleshooting

I've used this Pioneer model with great success, until recently. It began to shut off in the middle play, then not start again when ON button pushed. Unit then began displaying "no disc" when there was indeed a disc, and kept shutting off. It refused...

Great product

a fantastic DVD player for the money (the main reason i bought it was because it was one of the few DVD players in black to match my HiFi) however i'm so pleased with this its quality from the loading tray to the buttons - it feels solidly...
