the less expensive ones like this one will play back up discs unlike the more expensive ones, they last for years, take up hardly any space, what more could you ask for.

only one bad point, the tray gets stuck, but ok after a few uses

Only a small point is that the opening mechanism is not that easy for something clumsy.
