I hoped more than it

 

So far, I have troubles making dubbing between the units (dvd-hd-minidv). Maybe,handling isn't to friendly

JVC has had a high failure rate with these. (I have installed several of these and all have failed.) JVC has admitted this and working on the problem. They do a good job with the repairs but to lose it for weeks is not worth the price tag.
