I was looking for a good DVD player that was cheap, and this works just fine. I'm just using it to play my exercise DVDs, so I didn't need anything fancy. It's a nice player and I've been using it for a while with no problems.

My old Toshiba dvd was fine for my 190 pound 31" glass tube tv with an s-video input. But my 5-yr-old 6.1 surround receiver has only one coax digital audio input. And my new tv is another coax audio source! Now my hd tv feeds into that single coax...
