The price on this unit is now down to around $135 at WM, which I found to be a very good deal, given the screen size and stated battery life of 3.5 hours. I have just played with it for about 20 minutes, so I can't comment on the extended durability of...

Nice Picture, Poor Sound

 

This is a pretty nice, slim, durable player. The volume control knob stopped functioning properly a week or so after I bought it. I actually dropped it 5 feet onto a hard surface by mistake while walking through the airport, and it still worked after...

Nice, big 8.5 inch screen, can be viewed from almost 180 degrees

Volume and headphone jacks are wired poorly

I bought the DVD player right before I deployed for entertainment on the 30 some hour flight to Iraq. It worked great at first but after about one week it started to skip towards the end of the DVD/CD that I had in. At first I thought it was my Disks...
