Memorex MVD2040 Progressive Scan DVD Player with Built-in MP3 Decoder - a good low-budget DVD-system!

Back in November I got separated and moved into an apartment. Since I wasn't able to take all of the things I wanted I went to Target to purchase a cheap DVD player for my kids' entertainment and chose the Memorex (MVD2040) DVD Player for aprox. $35....

Easy to use, low-cost DVD-player for people on a budget, great for the kids room

Too quickly in Stand-by mode - annoying since DVD/-player has to be re-started to resolve

Is it LIVE or is it MEMOREX?

About 4 or 5 months ago, I purchased a cheap DVD player for my den. We use it for a game / media room. It's a small room with a 32" inch CRT TV and a nice comfortable couch. A VCR, a Gamecube and a Playstation 2 are hooked up to the TV and the room is...
