I'm still in the process of testing it, but everything seems to be working as advertised. I didn't realize there is no HDMI, but I don't have a high definition tv so that doesn't really apply to me anyway. I have tried playing AVI files off of discs...

Not worth it

Lets begin with the obvious: No HDMI; for $10.00 less I got myself an HDMI ready, brand new player with just about the same features. Remote control is huge; 80's style. The card and USB reader can only work with certain flash readers...so be prepare...

I bought this because I lost my remote to my old DVD player. This one the remote just wont work. I was sent a replacement but it is the wrong one and doesn't work getting very frustraited
